Questions about CourtPlay
Players first, then venues. Billing, contracts and court counts are answered on CourtPlay pricing, and every price and limit is listed in CourtPlay facts.
Player questions
Is CourtPlay free for players?
Yes. Finding games, RSVPing, joining clubs and following live tournaments are all free.
Do I need an account to see a tournament?
Not to see the event. Dates, venue, divisions and the schedule are public — share the link with anyone. Player names, brackets and standings are signed-in only, and you need an account to register or RSVP.
What happens if a game is full?
You can join the waitlist. If someone drops out, the next person in line is moved into the spot automatically and notified — there is nothing to accept and no race to be first.
Can I link my DUPR rating?
Yes. Link DUPR from your profile and your rating shows on your player card. Results reach DUPR from games and tournaments run with DUPR switched on. In a game, the host submits a round or the whole game. In a tournament, a DUPR division sends each match on its own once both sides confirm.
Is there a mobile app?
Yes — CourtPlay is live on the App Store and Google Play. The website covers browsing, sign-in, hosting and tournament registration; scoring, joining a club and running a game night happen in the app.
Who can see my personal details?
Your email and your private profile fields are locked to your account. Other players see your display name, rating and match history; how much of your performance they see is a setting you control.
Venue questions
What is CourtPlay?

- Online court booking for members and the public
- Open play, round robins, leagues and tournaments
- Programs, lessons and camps
- Memberships, passes and family plans
- Card, wallet and bank payments

How much does CourtPlay cost?
CourtPlay prices each location per month, billed annually: Club $149 with 8 courts, Pro $299 with 16 courts, Elite $499 with 32 courts. Monthly billing costs $50 more per month. The pricing page has every court count and feature.
Does CourtPlay take a cut of our bookings?
No. Every CourtPlay plan has a 0% platform fee on court bookings and club sales. Payments run through Stripe and pay out to your venue's own Stripe account, so you pay Stripe's standard processing only.
Which sports can a venue run on CourtPlay?
Pickleball, tennis, padel, squash, badminton and table tennis (Every plan). Courts, rooms and simulators, with hours and closures (Every plan). A court is any bookable unit. Four tennis courts lined as 16 pickleball courts count as 16.
Can CourtPlay run open play, round robins and leagues?
Yes. Open play, round robins, leagues and tournaments (Every plan); Live TV board, standings and lobby screen (Every plan); DUPR and other player ratings (Every plan).
Can you move our members from our current system?
Yes. Every plan includes assisted migration from your current system, and the self-serve import keeps your members' saved cards, so they don't have to re-enter them.
How do we get started?
Book a demo and the CourtPlay team walks you through the plan that fits your courts, then helps you set up and move your data. Questions first? Email sales@courtplay.ai.
Which formats can I run?
One-off games, weekly series, leagues and tournaments — with rotating partners, fixed partners, singles, or team play including MLP-style and inter-club squads.
Can CourtPlay build the bracket for me?
Yes. Pick a division, then generate round robin pools, single elimination or double elimination. Winners advance as match scores are confirmed. (Regenerating a round is a game-night action, not a bracket one — a bracket is reshaped by editing the draw.)
How do I handle check-in and no-shows?
At a game night, open the game's menu and tap Check in players: each row on the Players tab gets a check-in box. A row's ⋯ menu swaps a player out from this round on, or removes them, and CourtPlay offers to rebuild the rounds not yet played. At a tournament, use Run console → Check-in desk.
What does a club get?
A public club page, member management with organizer roles, upcoming and past games, and season rankings that can be split by division.
Can we keep our club private?
Yes. Every club can be found, but a private club takes join requests that an admin approves, and you can require approval for everyone, invites included. Each game can be public or kept to your club.
