Terms of Service
Last updated: 28 October 2026
1. Acceptance of terms
By downloading or using the CourtPlay apps, or by using this website, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use them.
2. Description of service
CourtPlay is made up of the CourtPlay mobile apps for iPhone and Android and this website. Players use it to join clubs, book courts, buy memberships, sign waivers, check in, organize games, run round robin formats, register for tournaments and coordinate with other players. Clubs use it to run their facility. The service is provided by Plyvo Apps LLC.
3. Eligibility and age requirement
You must be 13 or older to create a CourtPlay account. By creating an account, signing in, or using CourtPlay in any way, you represent and warrant that you are at least 13 years old. This representation is a material term of these Terms of Service.
If you are between 13 and the age of majority in your jurisdiction (typically 18), you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and accepted these Terms on your behalf.
There is no child account. A parent or guardian, or a club, may enter the minimum details a club needs for a child to book and play on the parent's family; the parent or guardian accepts these Terms for that child, is responsible for the child's use of CourtPlay, and can delete the child's details at any time.
We do not knowingly let anyone under 13 create an account. If we become aware that an account holder is under 13, we will disable the account and delete the associated personal data in accordance with the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and any other applicable laws. If you believe an account holder is under 13, please contact us at support@courtplay.ai and we will investigate promptly.
4. User accounts
You need an account to book, buy a membership, sign a waiver, RSVP to a game, register for a tournament, host, or message another player. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
5. Clubs
Each club on CourtPlay is run by its own operator, not by us. When you book with a club, buy a membership, package or pass from it, or sign its waiver, your agreement for that purchase or waiver is with the club. The club sets its own prices, rules, cancellation and refund policies, and age requirements, and decides whether to admit or block a player. For the member data a club holds, the club is the controller and CourtPlay is its processor, as our Privacy Policy describes.
6. Payments
Payments to a club are processed by Stripe and paid to the club's own Stripe account. We do not hold your card details. Refunds follow the club's refund setting and are issued by the club.
7. Text messages (CourtPlay texts)
- The program: CourtPlay texts are one-time codes you ask for, and texts for a club you belong to. Club texts go to the mobile number on your account only after you opt in for that club.
- One-time codes: When you enter your mobile number at sign-up or change it, we text a 6-digit code to confirm it is yours. Codes are sent only when you ask for one, expire in 10 minutes, and are not marketing.
- What we send: Account and membership notices: renewal reminders, payment failed, membership approved or expired. No marketing texts unless you separately opt in to them.
- How often: Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply.
- Stop, help and start: Reply STOP to cancel at any time; it stops texts from every club. Reply HELP for help. Reply START to resume.
- Carriers: Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- Consent: Consent to receive texts is not a condition of purchase or of joining a club.
- Support: support@courtplay.ai or https://courtplay.ai/support.
- Privacy: How we handle your mobile number and consent is in our Privacy Policy; mobile opt-in data and consent are never shared with or sold to third parties for marketing.
8. User conduct
You agree not to use CourtPlay to harass, abuse, or harm other users; post inappropriate, offensive, or illegal content; attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts; or interfere with the operation of the service.
9. Content
You retain ownership of content you create (messages, game results, profile information). By posting content, you grant us a non-exclusive license to display it within CourtPlay to other users as intended by the features you use.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time from your profile in the app. Upon deletion, your personal data will be removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy; records a club must keep, such as signed waivers and payments, stay with that club.
11. Disclaimer
CourtPlay is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not responsible for injuries sustained during games, bookings or programs organized through CourtPlay.
12. Changes to terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of CourtPlay after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
13. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of CourtPlay shall be resolved through binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. Arbitration will be conducted on an individual basis — class actions and class arbitrations are not permitted.
Exceptions: Either party may (a) bring claims in small claims court if eligible, or (b) seek injunctive or equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to protect intellectual property rights.
